Road Access

Shobrooke is accessed via local rural roads connecting to Crediton and the surrounding villages. The wider road network provides onward access to Exeter, Tiverton and the M5 motorway.

Public Transport

A local bus service operates on selected days, connecting the village with Crediton.

Shobrooke is served by regular bus services providing connections to nearby towns.

Service 5 – Crediton to Exeter
Operated by Stagecoach South West
Provides regular links to Crediton and Exeter, including access to rail services, shopping and healthcare facilities.

Service 369 – Crediton to Cullompton
Operated by Dartline
A limited service (generally weekdays) serving local villages and Cullompton.

Bus stops are located at Shobrooke Cross, Shobrooke Village Hall and along Bradninch Road.

Rail

Crediton railway station, located nearby, provides regular services to Exeter and Barnstaple, with onward connections to the national rail network.

Trains run from Crediton railway station to:

  • Exeter St Davids railway station – approx. 10–15 minutes
  • Exeter Central railway station – approx. 15–20 minutes
